Each time your remove your exhaust , the gasket needs replaced. If you attempt to reuse it, it can leak and fail, causing noise and exhaust gases to fill your passenger compartment. Pick up some new nuts and anti-seize to make the replacement job easier.
This particular gasket is located between the catalytic converter and the down pipe.
